Quilt Story:

Kim F. Hall: These are the final lines from poet Amanda Gorman’s 2021 Inauguration poem “The Hill We Climb.” The graphic designer captures the colors of Gorman’s carefully chosen and now iconic outfit. I used a “liberated” or “wonky” technique for the star which gives light in darkness. I truly hope the poem is still correct that we “witnessed a nation that isn’t broken but simply unfinished.”
