Openly Sourced Public Speaking Content

The Public Speaking Open Pedagogy Project is an “open”, publicly available archive for teachers, pedagogues, and public speaking advocates to access sample assignments and public speaking activities.

This project emerged from a graduate-level pedagogy course at the University of Kansas. Our goal has been the exploration of open pedagogical practices that shift from a privatized pool of teaching resources toward a public archive of collaborative and accessible public speaking instructional materials.

As an open archive, materials in this project utilize a Creative Commons license. While any of our materials can be freely downloaded, used, and kept, each submission includes their own CC license which communicates additional parameters of use. Here is a quick guide to the licenses that are used in this archive:
