OEN Manifold Community

Welcome! The Open Education Network (OEN) invites you, our members, to use Manifold to create and publish open educational resources (OER). The documentation below provides the details, including how to request Manifold access. Please read through the Manifold Community Guidelines carefully.

Important to note is that you are the publisher. You're responsible for the content published in your Collection. Please be sure to work with your authors to ensure that projects are openly licensed, including the images! It is recommended that you spend time with authors to come to a shared understanding about the project before they begin. After all, you'll be publishing it together.

For more background, in 2022-2024, we organized a multi-phase pilot to learn about how the community could leverage Manifold. We discovered that offering shared publishing infrastructure meant that more people could publish! The proof is in the pudding, as they say. Already, more than 20 openly licensed projects have been created and shared. We invite you to browse our community's Collections.

We are excited about what you’ve already created, and look forward to seeing what you make in the future.
