Full description

Image is a photocopy of a letter from Ed Grubbs to Representative Carl D. Perkins on August 23, 1967. The letter reads: "Dear Sir, I am writing to you about the strip mining in Kentucky. I don't think you should out law strip mining. If you did half of the people in KY would be without a job. I know it destroys land, but they have to get the coal out one way or the other. If you out law it my father would be without a job. Yours truly, Ed Grubbs."
