This cookbook is a collection of Berea College student’s food history, creating a diverse piece of exciting flavors, home cooking, creativity, and culture. Students explored the role food plays in cultures around the world from an anthropological, sociological, political, and environmental lens. They examined their own food culture and other cultures around the world. This cookbook includes a brief taste of their own food culture, as well as a brief look at a culture outside of their own. We hope you will enjoy exploring how food can be more than just nutrition and how it can communicate cultural messages.
