TeachBridge Competency 9:

Using Assessment to Engage Learners

Competency Description:

The teacher can engage learners in their own growth by using a variety of assessments to monitor learner progression and to gauge the teacher’s and learner’s decision-making. The teacher is committed to engaging learners in generating criteria for quality work, designing learning experiences that help learners apply feedback, and strengthening their performance.

Overview

TeachBridge is an online, competency-based teacher preparation curriculum designed to help Educator Preparation Providers (EPPs) and school districts expand access to high-quality teacher training.

The OER TeachBridge materials include student-facing curriculum for university use. The course content is downloadable in the form of a Common Cartridge file (.imscc) which can be imported into the user's LMS.
