Data Collection and Privacy

Library and Tutoring Services collects and maintains usage data to support operational planning, assessment, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts. Information collected may include facility usage, tutoring participation, instructional activities, circulation transactions, reference interactions, and use of electronic resources.

Students, faculty, and staff may be invited to participate in surveys, assessments, and other evaluation activities designed to improve Library and Tutoring Services programs and resources.

Library and Tutoring Services is committed to protecting user privacy. Personally identifiable information is collected only as necessary to provide services, maintain system security, and support institutional reporting and assessment requirements. Information is handled in accordance with applicable FSCJ policies and legal requirements.
